Quote Board

The first thing that attracted me to Jordan was how funny he was. He always made me laugh no matter what was happening. And he still does. One day I asked him, “Do you think we will run out of funny things?” Haha Yeah right! I was worried because we would always repeat previous funny things and I wondered if it would get old. But of course there are always new ones.

Last night while we were talking on the phone there were a number of comments that cracked me up. So I wrote them down. It may not be interesting to anyone who reads, but to us, they were gold.

Remember quote boards with the roommates? Well this is ours.

This one was a text

J- I got the tickets for Jerry Seinfeld!!

C- Ya (stupid phone always sends my messages before I am done so I can’t express my excitement with these, !!!!!!!!!)

J- Your mom texted me today

C- Hahahahahahhahahhahah (mom doesn’t text)

J- I’m drinking A&W Root Beer in a frosty mug right now :)

C- You bought Root Beer? (that’s not healthy)

J- ..............No

J- I’m never going to let cold stuff touch the top of my mouth again. (Recently learned how brain freeze’s happen)

Another interesting things that happened to Jordan today was that he saw William and Kate! Haha it seems like all of Calgary is going ecstatic over this and Jordan just saw them walking into their hotel the Hyatt which he can see perfectly from his office window. He could hear people screaming all the way up to his office. I don’t know the floor but its high.

Also its stampede week which translates to hardly any work. Today Jordan saw the stampede parade, ate lunch at Cora's, watched Will and Kate, and is wearing jeans and a cowboy hat. And who knows how many stampede breakfast lines he will wait in during work hours over the next 10 days :)
