Last week I opened up a time capsule from the year 2000. My ward growing up did it, I believe with the whole stake and we were supposed to open it last year, but they forgot :) I had written a letter about myself, my hopes and dreams and what was in style at the time etc.
Things I wanted:
-Own a Jetta, Porsche or Beetle
-Live in the USA. Preferably Utah or California
-The style to be the same in 10 years- eek
-to be married or engaged
-To graduate high school and maybe college
-To graduate high school and maybe college
-wealthy
-strong in the gospel
Some things I liked:
-Flares and ¾ length shirts and skorts in the summer
-Basketball
-Nsync, Brittany Spears, Our Lady Peace and Blink 182
-Fav foods- scones, spaghetti, Yorkshire pudding,
perogies, junk food and sprite
Things I have accomplished
in those 10 years:
-
I got married
-
I am wealthy-
per say haha
-
Own a Jetta,
because Jordan owned one so I can also call it mine
-
Lived in the
USA, but not Utah or Cali, and not permanently
- Graduated high school
- ALMOST graduated college
-
Strong in the
gospel
Things I still like:
-My favourite foods- scones, spaghetti, Yorkshire pudding,
perogies, and junk food
-Our Lady Peace is still good, but don’t ever listen to
them
-Thats about it! Haha I no longer wear skorts. Too bad
