I had a great semester! I took 5 classes and did a part time internship which I blogged about previously. My favourite class? Health and Fitness Appraisal and Prescription. Long name! We learned all about exercising and eating right and how to exercise etc. As a group we got to train a client to lose weight. It was very interesting and a learning experience. Our client was able to lose 22 pounds in 8 weeks. We were proud, but I still worry about him after this program because a lot of his drive came from us and knowing that we were checking up on him. I hope he continues and we did the best we could to instill good habits in him. Eating habits were the hardest, and I don’t blame him. It’s hard for me!

I loved my group, Karly Percifield and Tynj’a were also my group members. Loved them to death. I was glad to get to know Karly better as we knew each other before but not very well. She also let me train her for my sports conditioning class for 4 weeks and she was so helpful and positive.
Jordan was able to visit me every other week and sometimes I visited too. Visits were always so fun because we hadn’t seen each other in 2 weeks so it was so exciting. We played a lot of spider solitaire, went bowling at the school every chance we got because its so cheap, loved our Twizzle Berry , playing Frisbee and watched movies on my laptop. I am so lucky that he drove 10 hours there and back to see me so often. But I think it is the reason that this all turned out so well.
There was a little crying when we were apart on my side, but for the most part I was so busy anyway that it kept me occupied. At one point I was training 2 clients and also doing my own fitness plan which kept me pretty busy in the evenings on top of homework. On Jordan’s end he was taking a class for the GMAT and studying in between each class as well as being the Young Men president which basically took up all of his time. Which means that even if I was home, he wouldn’t have had any time for me! So this really worked out perfect and I am so glad that I was able to complete one more semester! I only have 1 more to go and then I can graduate! I can’t wait, but I’m so happy to be home again.
That sounds like such a sweet class! i am so jealous! 22 lbs in 8 weeks is such a sweet weight loss! i hope to have stories like that when I start this new program
